Frequently asked questions

Is there a Play Store on the Jaecoo J7?

No. The head unit has no Google Play Store and no Google Play Services. JaecooApp's Online store downloads free apps straight from Google Play instead.

Can I install paid apps?

Not through the Online store yet - it handles free apps only, and not apps that need expansion (OBB) files.

Does installing apps need root?

No. JaecooApp is installed over ADB, a switch in the car's engineering menu, and the car is not rooted.
