The Jaecoo J7 and Omoda C5 screens can run far more than the apps they ship with. These are the ones owners install first. All of them come through JaecooApp: enable ADB, then install it from the installer.
Start with MicroG
MicroG replaces the Google Play Services the car doesn’t have. Install it first from Jaecoo Store and sign in with your Google account: YouTube, YouTube Music and Google Maps need it.

JaecooApp itself
JaecooApp is more than a store. On the same car you get:
- Split screen: an app in a floating window over the map
- Trip and fuel consumption: L/100 km and cost per trip (J7)
- Gesture control: fan and temperature with a swipe (J7)
- Floating weather widget with a shortcut ring
- Hide apps and disable the built-in maps
Keep them up to date
Apps from Jaecoo Store show an Update button in App Store and App Manager when a newer version is out, and update right there. JaecooApp updates itself from System → Check for Updates; turn on Auto Check OTA to be told when a new version is ready.
Frequently asked questions
Do these apps need my phone?
No. They run on the head unit itself. They only need internet, usually from your phone's Wi-Fi hotspot.
Can I install other apps?
Yes, any free app from Google Play through JaecooApp's Online store, or an APK file from your computer.
How do I update these apps?
In JaecooApp. App Store and App Manager show an Update button when Jaecoo Store has a newer version, and JaecooApp updates itself from System.
