Jaecoo J7 Trip Log - History, Work Trips, Split Fuel Cost

The Trip screen in JaecooApp turns the Jaecoo J7 into a trip logbook: every drive is saved with its distance, duration, fuel and cost, grouped by day, with totals for today, this week and this month.

Record trips

Tap Start before you set off and Finish when you arrive. Recording carries on in the background until you tap Finish, even across engine stops. Set your Price per litre once so every trip shows its cost. More on fuel figures.

Read the history

• Summary: distance, number of trips, fuel, cost and average consumption for Today, This week and This month.
• History: grouped by day, with each day’s total distance, fuel and cost.

Label work and personal trips

Open a trip (Trip details) to give it a Name, a Label (Work or Personal) and a Note, handy for expense claims or a mileage log.

Split the fuel cost

In Split the cost, choose how many people shared the ride, up to 9. The app shows the amount for each person.

Good to know

• Finish saves the trip with the current fuel price. A finished trip can’t be resumed.
• Changing the price later doesn’t touch trips already saved: they keep the price they were finished with.
• Each trip shows how its fuel use compares with your usual trips, plus cost per km, top speed and the number of stops.
• If Start shows Could not read the odometer and fuel counters from the car, switch the ignition on and try again.
